First, open your document and make sure it's formatted the way you want - once it's in .pdf format, it cannot be edited without dedicated software (that you would have to purchase). I'm using a .pdf document created from my MUS 85/Music & Media online course. I provide a link for a downloadable copy for 2 reasons, 1) the learning styles issue mentioned on page 1, and 2) to be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. It specifically states that we should be providing downloadable copies of the lectures for students with disabilities that make it hard for them to read from a computer screen. In my case, the .pdf documents actually have the images, etc. from the course, because I create them from the webpages themselves. That said, ETUDES looks a little different than my webpages (I link my pages to ETUDES for copyright reasons), so I made this Word document to make this tutorial as transparent as possible.
