Students Print Tee Shirts at Haiti Fund Raising Event

Kudos to the students and instructor Kent Manske! It's great to see our students getting involved with such a great altruistic event to benefit those less fortunate. This is what it's all about!

Välkommen till klass! How about a ham sandwich?
No Food And Drink In The Classrooms, Please!
Every year about this time the annual Festival Of Calories takes place with our students. No one knows what causes this phenomenon! It may have something to do with the ongoing If I Don't Text During Class, I'll Die, Really I will! virus going around. The CDC has a vaccine ready, but not enough doses are available as of this writing. I had a student in this week who told me "I just can't wrap my mind around the fact I can't have my hot cocoa during class". This is not a ringing endorsement for the students' cognitive skills, but that's beside the point.
These are not magic carpets in the classrooms, or I would be flying around like Ali Baba. When the student dumps his/her caramel macchiato with extra caramel on the floor, it causes a big, smelly, sticky mess, and it's not going to get shampooed any time soon, I can guarantee you. So if you see a student with anything except bottled water in class, ask them to take it outside, please!
